The Aswang is a monster, Tik tik, wak wak, soc soc. The needle tongue probes the heart for dinner straight from the source—embryonic sac. Veal, baby cow meat, is a delicacy. I do not eat the young but many do. Actually, the fish roe sprinkled over rice could be young. I swallowed it whole. Huddled in the living room, we debate over the dinner time combo of pasta and cashews. We slice a taco bell order: Mild wet sauce, potato filled tortillas, Chalupa cream with brown meat, no cheese. We tik tik wak wak soc soc. The orange and white walls are plain, slightly cubic reminds me of something sweet, a Strawberry Shortcake friend and so, I must note a remnant of words.
