A few nights ago, dreaming that my kneecap was dislocating itself again, clicking underneath the half-pressing of my hands the hard happenstance of what i thought an immovable fruit was. Why is my body disassembling when I asked for delicate compositions on mid-toned papers, one pint of ice cream, etcetera? In bed, trembling in the sheet from the hard blow and my legs are sore from the tensing. The next night I dream that I am a bird.
