Pressed against your chest, purrs vibrate at a healing hum.
Modest meows slip lips cooping chicken carcass breath.
Guardian of evil with plucky predacious wrath.
Observant peridot pools lust over yard meadow.
My heart; pledged to the onyx panther who crossed my path.
Personal shadow, witch's familiar, mythic Tarot.
Perched carpet tree castle, King of domestic jungle, stretching out to extend his
manicured tapered claws.
Prissy yet poised, spoiled surely sour strays from humble, claws routinely retract
into pads of velvet paws.
Paws tucked, a narrowed glare expresses indignation.
He sees you sleep and will pounce without contemplation.
