About the Author
Janette Rosebrook grew up in the Pacific Northwest, eating salmonberries, redcaps and muddying up her good school shoes in search of frogs. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Her work has appeared in The Madrona Project Volume III: The Universe is a Forest, I Sing The Salmon Home Anthology (a Washington State Book Award Winner), Cirque: A Literary Journal of the Pacific Rim, and Washington 129. She currently lives in Bellingham, Washington.

Yasmine Essence Soria is a Latina photographer and writer based in Chicago. She received a Bachelor's in Creative Writing with a minor in Photography. Her photo work has been published in Mystic Owl Magazine, Outlander Zine, and displayed in the For Women, By Women Gallery from 2022-2024. She aims to create work to express core aspects of her identity while concentrating on developing new world perspectives.
