It started with a dull throbbing— then out sprung the crispy pain Foul language burst from my chapped lips when the doctor grabbed my leg. Holding up his cold carving knife he sliced my pulsating calf: Barbeque sauce bled from the cut revealing smooth, raw poultry. “You are what you eat,” the quack said. Shock. Panic. Cluck.
